Smoke Turkey two ways (Spatchcocked and Whole) | Traeger Timberline 1300

In todays video I am showing how easy it to smoke Turkey two ways, one spatchcocked and the other whole.
When it comes to sourcing your Turkey’s, Fresh is Best, and these two turkeys where fresh and never frozen and where GMO free!! I got them from my local butcher and advise you to do the same.

As I have often times mentioned, anything you can cook in your oven, you can cook on your Traeger and smoking Turkey is no different!! This cook will be a 2 step process, I will first utilize the SuperSmoke Mode on my Traeger Timberline D2 1300 and then to get the crispy skin, I will crank up the heat!!

An important step that is oftentimes overlooked is brining, and if you want to avoid the infamous dry turkey, don’t miss this important step!
